Self Catering (8 - 12 persons)

For larger parties of between 6 and 10 persons, self catering is provided by utilising both the Ground Floor and the First Floor of the main house (Les Glycines). Being a traditional French longére farmhouse all the rooms on the Ground Floor run along the length of the house and the accommodation is arranged as follows:-

Reception Room

(11m x 5.5m) 33ft x 15ft. Decorated in soft hues of white and yellow with both antique and modern furniture with feature stone open fireplace, 4 large double glazed windows and half glazed front door overlooking the pool and gardens, offering plenty of light with high ceilings, beams, TV with video, CD & DVD players, plus Wi-fi internet access for your laptop or pocket PC. There are two comfortable sofas (3-seater and 2 seater) plus an extra sofa which seats 3 persons. Dining Area with Pine Dining Tables and chairs provide adequate seating. Tiled flooring throughout the Ground Floor makes the house beautifully cool & refreshing on hot Summer days.

Fully equipped Country Kitchen with electric hob & extractor. Built in fan oven/grill, micro-wave, fridge, dishwasher, ample storage and cupboard space.

3 drawer freezer, hoover, iron & ironing board.

(4.5m x 4m) 12ft x11ft. Door to Pool & Gardens, Stone steps to old wooden door leading to First Floor (N.B. Easily converts to another spacious Single/Twin or Double Bedroom with free-standing hanging wardrobe. Door to:

(4.5m x 4m) 12ft x 11ft. Two single ornate iron beds. Windows overlooking pool and garden. Door to closet with hanging rail and shelves. Door to small Lobby leading to further bedroom and Shower Room: with fitted vanity unit with mirrored back and wash basin, enclosed shower, w.c.

Double Bedroom (Cornflower)(4.5m x 4m) 12ft x 11ft. Double bed, free standing hanging and shelved wardrobe, door leading to large secluded walled gardens.

Magnificently converted from an old attic with many original exposed beams offering light rooms with ample head-height and fully carpeted in a shade of pale oatmeal (sorry no outdoor footwear on this floor!) Feature polished original wooden panelling leading to large Dressing Room with hanging rails. Just along the corridor is a Spacious Shower Room: Corner fitted shower with sliding doors, large pedestal wash basin, w.c. Heated towel rail.

Large Luxury Double Bedroom with en-suite (Honeysuckle - The Honeymoon Suite)

Huge picturesque window, with romantic window seat, overlooking the magnificent Mulberry tree, pool and gardens. Definitely a Room with a View! The large luxury en-suite bathroom features a built-in wooden cupboard with enormous wash basin, bidet, w.c., wood panelled bath with shower mixer-taps, and fitted shelves, heated towel rail, velux window.

 The farmhouse has been beautifully converted and was really well equipped. We particularly liked the gardens and grounds which were a delight - The Evans family, Builth Wells, UK.
